Glasses With Rubber Nose Pads
Rubber nose pads are a popular feature for glasses. Cushioning the point at which the bridge of frames makes contact with the wearer’s face increases comfort. Nose pads also keep glasses in place during movement and prevent frames from pinching or rubbing on the bridge of the nose.
Many glasses with rubber nose pads are designed with active wear in mind. Sports sunglasses are more comfortable to wear when ordinary movement and impact are less likely to cause discomfort. Other materials such as plastic, foam and silicone are also used to make nose pads. Some frames make it easier to replace damaged, ill-fitting or worn nose pads than other styles.
